FreightSmart Grants Program
The QTLG together with Transport and Main Roads has offered 2 grants of $50,000 witht he aim of encouraging and supporting Queensland based industries in identifying, trialling and evaluationg innovative freight practices that will reduce urban congestion, minimise greenhouse gas emissions and deliver a more efficient and effective freight network.
The QTLC is pleased to announce the successful recipients of the two $50,000 Freight Smart Grants as Cannon Logistics and Strategix Training Group. The two proponents presented proposals of a high calibre and have shown real potential to make genuine contributions to creating freight efficiencies for the freight industry across Queensland with their innovative concepts.
Freight Smart Grant Scheme's next phase will be to measure outcomes for each proponent through; running trials, capturing data and reporting results. This process will provide integrity to the data of each proposal and enable the evaluation of specific outcomes.
Once the trialling and evaluation process is compelte and tangibile outcomes have been unearthed, the QTLC looks forward to promoting the findings and sharing them with industry.
